About Dillon Coran - Piano Fixer

   Born in the picturesque town of Tillamook, Oregon, Dillon Coran's early childhood was a pop-up book of outdoor adventures and family bonding. Hunting trips with his father in the coastal range, accompanied by a menagerie of pets, set the stage for a life deeply connected to nature.

   At the age of six, Dillon's family relocated to Welches, nestled in the heart of the Mt Hood National Forest. Welches grade and middle schools witnessed his unfocused academic pursuits, overshadowed by the allure of the outdoors and creative endeavors. Snowboarding and guitar playing emerged as defining passions during these formative years.

   Transitioning into adolescence, Dillon's love for music flourished. It was during this time that he encountered Leanna, the love of his life, on shared camping trips and outdoor escapades. Together, they embarked on a musical journey that culminated in the formation of the band 26 East. Battling their way to victory in a local competition and performing at a statewide festival near the iconic Rose Garden in Portland, the band's odyssey solidified their bond as friends, bandmates, and soulmates.

   Despite the challenges of pursuing a musical career, Dillon and Leanna's connection endured, leading them to their current chapter—happily engaged and preparing for a lifetime together.

   As the twists of life unfolded, Dillon and Leanna faced the necessity for change during the global pandemic in 2020. The absence of live music performances prompted a shift towards building businesses around their passions. Leanna, a talented photographer, and Dillon, still a musician at heart but also an engineer, found new avenues. Dillon's path led him to Eugene Piano Company, where his affinity for music and engineering converged into a career as a piano tuner and repair specialist.

   In 2024, "Dillon Coran - Piano Fixer" emerged, marking the beginning of a journey into the intricate world of acoustic grand and upright pianos. With a keen sense of logic and critical thinking, honed through experiences in STEM education and earning the esteemed Eagle Scout Rank, Dillon approaches piano service work with finesse and dedication.

   Beyond his professional pursuits, Dillon upholds a philosophy rooted in stoicism. He navigates life's uncertainties with a thirst for knowledge, relying on logic and critical thinking. Taking ownership of mistakes and learning from them, he aspires to be a father and husband, equipped with the skills to navigate life's challenges.

   Outside of work, Dillon finds joy in snowboarding, though it has become a rare indulgence in Eugene. He and Leanna continue to share their love for music at open mic nights and various paid performances. They also cherish moments at home with their dog and two cats, indulging in video games and British panel television shows while savoring home-cooked meals.
